Brenda Shaeffer, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a practicing clinician for over 40 years. By finding solutions to recurring pain patterns, injury recovery and pain that hinders productivity, her goal is to partner with you to optimize your health and performance for a better quality of life. She uses a three-step method in her work with patients. First, she confirms the root cause of the issue, and helps you rethink your goals and priorities. Next, she applies research-based approaches to teach you how to recognize when and how to reduce risks in your own body and the movement patterns that cause pain and/or performance errors. Finally, she works with you to develop a goal-specific plan, including assembling a solutions team, and working in collaboration to apply treatment and teaching techniques to correct imbalances and re-train the body to function and optimize it the way it was designed. New evidence and findings allow Dr. Shaeffer to know that every person can reset their body to optimal health at any age or stage of life!
